Rome was not created in a day nor were Kid Companions. Here are some of the Kid Companions’ highlights.

Pierrette won a Nova Scotia competition called InNOVAcorp I-3 Technology Start-Up in 2007 and received $25,000 for expenses and $15,000 in mentoring.

Pierrette applied and received a grant that paid some of the cost for an engineering crew from Dalhousie University, Halifax to assist in modifying the design and making the molds for Kid Companions.

Then followed months of work to get Kid Companions export ready: applying for a Canadian and US patent, international insurance, shipping arrangements, designing www.chewelry.ca and tomorrow I will tell you more ...

But the Kid Companions are marching one by one. Hoorah! Hoorah! And in their ranks, they now have a New Kid on Our Block: "Li'l Boy Blue"
